LDiscovery’s PrivLog Builder™ Now Compatible With Relativity
MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — LDiscovery announced today that AlphaLit’s industry leading and proprietary PrivLog Builder™ is now exclusively available for use with the company’s hosted review service offerings, kCura’s Relativity and AlphaLit’s E-Direct®.
PrivLog Builder, previously only available with the E-Direct web hosting and review solution, has been the “best in class” privilege management software solution in the litigation support industry for almost a decade.
PrivLog Builder is the most advanced and powerful privilege log software application in E-Discovery. PrivLog Builder was built by attorneys for attorneys, with large-scale discovery in mind. Clients who use PrivLog Builder typically complete the privilege log process in less than 50% of the time required with traditional software tools or manual processes.
The following core features available in PrivLog Builder enable attorneys to streamline privilege review and rapidly prepare picture-perfect privilege logs for opposing counsel:
- Custom forms: We enable our users to create custom privilege review forms to automatically build complex privilege statements and reliably track privileged data in the review database.
- Redaction Log: Redactions can also be tracked in PrivLog Builder, allowing the user to maintain a separate redaction log if so desired.
- Production protection: PrivLog Builder integrates with the company’s review tools and provides real-time protection against inadvertent production of known privileged data.
- Name standardization: Ensure total privilege log consistency across name and email address metadata variants, and apply that normalization to future data with no additional effort.
“We are thrilled to offer our customers a version of PrivLog Builder which is compatible with Relativity. PrivLog Builder has been the envy of the industry for years, and now our entire user base, regardless of which review platform they prefer, can realize the benefits of using the application in their cases,” commented Chris Weiler, CEO of LDiscovery and AlphaLit.
LDiscovery will be providing demonstrations of PrivLog Builder during the LegalTech tradeshow in New York City on February 4-6, 2014.
