KLDiscovery and HubStor announce strategic partnership to offer Nebula™ Big Data Store
KLDiscovery, a leading global provider of eDiscovery and Information Governance services, and HubStor, a visionary storage software company and Microsoft Gold Partner, announced a strategic partnership to integrate KLDiscovery's best-of-breed eDiscovery platform, Nebula™, with HubStor's cloud data management platform.
MCLEAN, Va., April 11, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- KLDiscovery, a leading global provider of eDiscovery and Information Governance services, and HubStor, a visionary storage software company and Microsoft Gold Partner, announced a strategic partnership to integrate KLDiscovery's best-of-breed eDiscovery platform, Nebula™, with HubStor's cloud data management platform.
The resulting integration, Nebula Big Data Store, will provide an all-in-one legal hold solution covering both legal hold notifications and data preservation. Clients will be able to maintain legal hold data in a fully-indexed and searchable state with automated policy-driven retention and disposition of data. "We have been watching HubStor's progress in the archiving and storage space for some time and have been continuously impressed with their pace of innovation,” said Chris Weiler, CEO of KLDiscovery. “We believe we've chosen the ideal partner to help us enhance our offerings at the left end of the EDRM."
Nebula Big Data Store brings to HubStor a true end-to-end eDiscovery processing, review and production solution, including features such as KLDiscovery's Continuous Active Learning (CAL) Predictive Coding, Workflow automated routing, A/V Suite for audio visual files, AutoRedaction and more. Other supported use cases include legacy application retirement, dark data remediation and Information Governance. “We are excited to be able to extend our offerings to the legal vertical through this strategic partnership that brings the best of modern SaaS storage and eDiscovery toolsets together in one place," said Geoff Bourgeois, CEO of HubStor.
Nebula Big Data Store differs substantially from legacy solutions covering the intersection of archiving and eDiscovery:
- Supports any data type and does not use proprietary data formats.
- Requires no hardware; setup is possible in days as opposed to weeks or months.
- Billing model is simple and straightforward without reference to dozens of SKUs or costly add-ons.
Both organisations believe that their partnership has the potential to substantially ease the typical storage and legal hold pain points felt by large organisations dealing with burgeoning data volumes.
